We are Aaron and Lindsey Garringer, and we began our beekeeping journey in 2020. Aaron's dad, Ron, was so excited to gift us a beehive kit for Christmas in 2019...even though it was not something we had discussed or expressed interest in. We decided to give it a go despite knowing nothing about it. However, Ron also laughingly included Beekeeping for Dummies along with the hive setup. So armed with a book and copious amounts of YouTube "research," we embarked on an adventure. We have definitely made mistakes and learned a ton along the way and continue to do so!

Since this venture began with a gift from Aaron's parents, that's also where our business name stemmed from. We decided to use the family farm/business name of Stillwater, which was inspired from a bible passage.

Our guiding principle in everything we produce, is that it must utilize something from the hives, whether it's honey, beeswax or propolis.  This allows us to focus on highlighting the diversity and benefits that bees and beekeeping can provide!
